In Free the Night for Microsoft, the VR brainchild of award winning director Nicole McDonald, viewers can interact with the night sky, picking lights out of a city skyline and placing them back into the sky as stars where they belong. Expanding on McDonald’s creative direction I developed visual concepts for our team of 3D animators and created a cohesive visual language for environmental design, constellation particle animation and title design. Free the Night is the first 6DoF expereince debuting exclusively for Microsoft’s Windows Mixed Media.
