“I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn’t say any other way – things I had no words for.” -Georgia O’Keefe
Balance and experimentation mark the aesthetic ethos of Zoë Nissman’s work. Her creative life took root in the mountains of Topanga Canyon among the coyotes and sagebrush. She talked to the flowers, she named her horse Fantasia and before she could write, she drew.
Now, some moons later and based out of LA’s east-side, she is still drawing. A visual communicator at heart, her work in graphic design, photography, illustration, surface prints, typography and branding have lead her to art direction on a wide range of projects and collaborations.
Academic degrees include a Bachelor of Arts from Eugene Lang College at the New School University in New York City and an Associate of Arts from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles.
